Remote Helpdesk Print E-mail
Quite often some help desk tasks are quite easy to solve or simply require a quick adjustment to the users PC. In most cases this can lead to a site visit which may or may not be cost effective for a simple issue.

Hotmix Group can now provide remote desktop and server support for those tasks that don't require a site visit. The Remote Helpdesk is a small download that you can from our web site. Simply download and save it to your desk top. Then when you need help you simply double click it to open the channel to the other side. Then you choose the name of your Hotmix Group support technician.

Remote Helpdesk will connect your computer to the PC of the support technician you have chosen. This then allows them to take control of your PC. Once connected they can then see your desktop just as if they were sitting in front of it. Our Technicians can view any errors on screen (always useful), check computer settings, make changes and fix issues that you may be having.

Reduce resolution wait times
For our customers this saves time in getting issues fixed and systems back on-line. It also means we can deal with less critical issues without the need to visit site. Better for everyone and simple to use.

Is it safe?
Yes it is. The Remote Helpdesk does not install any software, it is completely self contained and it only works when you click on it to start it up. So there is no risk some one could take over your PC without your say so.

How much does Remote Helpdesk costs?
The software is free to download and use. You only pay for our time which we will charge on our normal basis. You will have your issues resolved much faster enabling you to get on with the job at hand.

How can I get it the Remote Helpdesk?
It simple but the Remote Desktop software is only available for new and existing clients. Just click here and save the file to your desktop or somewhere else safe. Double click the file you have downloaded and choose your support technician. It really is that easy.

Please Note:
You need to run the Remote Helpdesk on the computer that you are having trouble with. We can only connect to the computer that runs the Remote Helpdesk tools.

Your internet access will also have to be working for our technicians to connect into your PC.

Always contact your support technician first, (before using Remote Helpdesk) just to confirm that the Remote Helpdesk is the right tool for the job and your technician is available.
